Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  4. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  6. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  5 [09/2014 - 10/2015], or see step  5 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

  7. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  11

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE 

    See step  12

  9. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE 

    See step  14

  10. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT 

    See step  17

  11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 3 claws.

    2. Disengage the 3 guides and remove the fan shroud assembly from the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the radiator assembly when removing the fan shroud assembly.

  12. REMOVE COOLING FAN ECU 
    1. Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector and No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disengage the 4 clamps.
    3. Remove the 2 screws and cooling fan ECU.
  13. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  14. REMOVE FAN 
    1. Remove the nut and fan.

  15. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  16. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR 
    1. Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
