Removal [09/2014 - 11/2017]: Procedure

REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2014 - 10/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2015 - 11/2017]
REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
DISCONNECT NO. 2 VENTILATION HOSE
See step 6 [09/2014 - 10/2015], or see step 6 [10/2015 - 11/2017]
REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE
See step 7 [09/2014 - 10/2015], or see step 7 [10/2015 - 11/2017]

SEPARATE WIRE HARNESS

Remove the 2 nuts and separate the wire harness from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

Disengage the wire harness clamp from the intake air surge tank assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts and separate the 2 wire harness clamp brackets from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.

Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

NOTE:

If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

HINT:

Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

REMOVE SPARK PLUG
1. Remove the 6 spark plugs from the cylinder head sub-assembly.
  NOTE:
  If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.
