Removal [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [11/2017 - 11/2021], or see step  1 [11/2021 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE (for 2WD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 OIL PAN SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  4. REMOVE OIL PIPE WITH STRAINER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  5. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine oil level sensor connector.

    2. Remove the clip from the engine oil level sensor.

    3. Disengage the clamp.

    4. Remove the 2 nuts and engine oil level sensor.
  6. REMOVE OIL LEVEL SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Remove the oil level sensor bracket.
