Adjustment [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

See step  1

1. Horizontally and vertically adjust the hood.
   1. Loosen the 4 hinge bolts of the hood.

   2. Adjust the clearance between the hood and front fender by moving the hood.
   3. Tighten the 4 hinge bolts after adjustment.

      Torque: 13 N.m (133 kgf/cm, 10 ft.lbf) 

2. Adjust the height of the front end of the hood using the hood bumper cushions.
   1. Adjust the 2 hood bumper cushions so that the heights of the hood and fenders are aligned.

      HINT: 

      Raise or lower the front end of the hood by turning the 2 hood bumper cushions.

3. Adjust the hood lock.
   1. Remove the engine room side cover.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2022 - ]

   2. Remove the cool air intake duct seal.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2018 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - ]

   3. Remove the hood lock release lever protector.

      See step  6 [11/2017 - 11/2019], or see step  6 [11/2019 - ]

   4. Loosen the 3 bolts.

   5. Adjust the hood lock and tighten the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

   6. Check that the striker can engage the hood lock smoothly.
   7. Install the hood lock release lever protector.

   8. Install the cool air intake duct seal.

   9. Install the engine room side cover.
