Removal [03/2024 - ]: Procedure

  1. SECURE VEHICLE 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  2. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Open the glove compartment door assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      3. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 5 clips and 5 guides in the order shown in the illustration to remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.
  3. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    To prevent damage to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly), do not apply excessive force to the drive mode select switch (combination switch assembly).

      *1 Drive Mode Select Switch (Combination Switch Assembly) - -
      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Disengage the 4 clips in the order shown in the illustration to remove the upper console panel sub-assembly.
  4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. REMOVE SHIFTING HOLE COVER ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  16. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL

      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 5 clips and guide as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument panel finish panel.
  17. REMOVE BLE INDOOR DIGITAL KEY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Digital Key System)

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape to the area shown in the illustration.
      2. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 9 clips as shown in the illustration to remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.
      3. Disconnect each connector.

  24. REMOVE CIGAR LIGHTER HOLE COVER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the cigar lighter hole cover is necessary.

  25. REMOVE CONSOLE CUP HOLDER BOX SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the console cup holder box sub-assembly is necessary.

  26. REMOVE NO. 2 POWER OUTLET SOCKET ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 console rear end panel is necessary.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  27. REMOVE NO. 2 POWER OUTLET SOCKET COVER 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 console rear end panel is necessary.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  28. REMOVE USB CHARGER SOCKET 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the No. 2 console rear end panel is necessary.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  29. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE REAR END PANEL

  30. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure only when replacement of the box bottom mat is necessary.

      Remove in this Direction (1) Remove in this Direction (2)
      1. Turn back the box bottom mat and remove the 2 pieces of double-sided tape as shown in the illustration.
      2. Disengage the 5 claws and 3 guides to remove the box bottom mat as shown in the illustration.
