Removal [12/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR WIPER SHAFT COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  3. REMOVE REAR WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  4. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK CAP 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  5. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK PIVOT WITH WASHER PACKING NUT 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13
  6. REMOVE REAR WIPER LINK ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14
  7. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY LH 
    See step  1
  8. REMOVE BACK WINDOW STAY ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  9. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS

      1. Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.

        HINT: 

        When separating the back door glass from the vehicle, be careful not to damage the vehicle paint or interior/exterior ornaments.

    2. When reusing the back door glass:

      *a Matchmarks - -
      1. Place matchmarks over the glass and vehicle body at the locations indicated in the illustration.

      1. Remove the 4 nuts and back door glass.
        NOTE:

        Be careful not to drop the back door glass.

  10. REMOVE NO. 3 BACK DOOR WIRE HARNESS GUIDE

      *a Backside - -
      1. Detach the clamp.
      2. Using a scraper, remove the back door No. 3 wire harness guide.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed back door No. 3 wire harness guide with a new back door No. 3 wire harness guide.
  11. REMOVE BACK DOOR SEAL

      *a Backside - -
      1. Using a scraper, remove the back door seal.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed back door seal with a new back door seal.
  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR SEAL 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the back door seal.
  13. REMOVE BACK WINDOW LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS UPPER GUIDE BRACKET LH

  15. REMOVE BACK DOOR GLASS UPPER GUIDE BRACKET RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  16. REMOVE BACK DOOR WINDOW HINGE RETAINER

  17. REMOVE BACK DOOR HINGE PLATE LH

      *a Backside - -
      1. Using a scraper, remove the back door hinge plate LH.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed back door hinge plate LH with a new back door hinge plate LH.
  18. REMOVE BACK DOOR HINGE PLATE RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  19. REMOVE NO. 1 BACK WINDOW GLASS SPACER

      *a Backside - -
      1. Using a scraper, remove the No. 1 back door glass spacer.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed No. 1 back door glass spacer with a new No. 1 back door glass spacer.
  20. REMOVE BACK WINDOW OUTSIDE MOULDING

      *a Backside - -
      1. Using a scraper, remove the back window outside moulding.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed back window outside moulding with a new back window outside moulding.
  21. REMOVE BACK WINDOW OUTSIDE MOULDING 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the back window outside moulding.
  22. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR WINDOW WIRE

  23. REMOVE NO. 2 BACK DOOR WIRE HARNESS GUIDE

      1. Using a scraper, remove the No. 2 back door wire harness guide.
        NOTE:
        • Do not damage the back door glass.
        • Always replace the installed No. 2 back door wire harness guide with a new No. 2 back door wire harness guide
