Installation [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the vehicle.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the rear seatback assembly LH, body and body interior.

    2. Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly LH to the stud bolt.

      Nut
      Bolt
      Install in this Direction
    3. Temporarily install the nut and 2 bolts.
    4. Tighten the nut and 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the other side.

    1. Attach the clips to install the rear seatback cover.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION HOLDER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the other side.

    1. Install the rear seat cushion holder bracket with the bolt.

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf/cm, 15 ft.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the other side.

    1. Set a new rear seat cushion lock hook in place.
    2. Using 2 thin-bladed screwdrivers, push the sleeve to attach the claws.

      *a Sleeve
      *b Protective Tape
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force which may break the sleeve.

      HINT: 

      Tape the thin-bladed screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Check the installation condition.

      OK

      The sleeve is installed properly.

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    1. Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the vehicle.
      NOTE:

      Do not damage the rear seat cushion assembly, body and body interior.

    2. Attach the hooks on the rear of the rear seat cushion assembly to the 2 child restraint seat anchor brackets.

      *1 Child Restraint Seat Anchor Bracket
      *a Hook on Rear of Rear Seat Cushion
      Install in this Direction
    3. Push in the installation direction shown in the illustration and attach the 2 hooks on the front of the rear seat cushion assembly to the 2 rear seat cushion lock hooks to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

      *a Hook on Front of Rear Seat Cushion
      Install in this Direction
      NOTE:
      • Attach the rear seat cushion front side hooks one at a time.
      • Check that the rear seat cushion lock hooks and rear seat cushion assembly are securely fastened.
