- REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE FRONT CORNER ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE FRONT CENTER ULTRASONIC SENSOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the other side.
- REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP
HINT:
- When removing the ultrasonic sensor clip, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the ultrasonic sensor clip and front bumper cover using a heat light.
- Use the same procedure for all ultrasonic sensor clips.

Part Temperature Front Bumper Cover 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) Ultrasonic Sensor Clip WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
- Touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET
- REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE LH
- REMOVE LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GARNISH LH
*1 Front Bumper Side Retainer Remove in this Direction Protective Tape - Apply protective tape around the front bumper garnish LH.
- Remove the 2 screws and front bumper side retainer.
- Detach the clip and claw and remove the front bumper garnish LH.
- Remove the protective tape.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GARNISH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the front bumper garnish LH.
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH
- REMOVE FRONT BUMPER NO. 1 ARM
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER
- REMOVE FRONT MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE FRONT MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH
HINT:
When removing the No. 1 front bumper side support LH, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 1 front bumper side support LH and front bumper cover using a heat light.

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
- REMOVE NO. 1 MOULDING TAPE
HINT:
- When removing the No. 1 moulding tape, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 1 moulding tape and front bumper cover using a heat light.
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

- When removing the No. 2 moulding tape, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 2 moulding tape and front bumper cover using a heat light.
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

- REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING
- REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING
- REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR GRILLE
- REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE

NOTE:After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to REMOVAL [07/2020 - 05/2023]
WARNING:- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [07/2020 - 05/2023]
- REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET
- Check that the engine switch off.
- Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the 2 connectors of the pedestrian detection chamber assembly.NOTE:
When disconnecting any pedestrian detection chamber assembly connector, take care not to damage the wire harness.
HINT:
Refer to How to connect or disconnect the pedestrian detection chamber assembly connector.
Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [07/2020 - 05/2023]
- Remove the 2 bolts.
- Detach the claw and guide and remove the No. 2 front bumper mounting bracket together with the front bumper energy absorber.
Remove in this Direction
- REMOVE PEDESTRIAN DETECTION CHAMBER ASSEMBLY
