1. Remove the screw.

2. Disengage the 5 claws and guide to remove the No. 2 outer mirror cover.

1. w/ Panoramic View Monitor System:
   1. Disengage the clamp.

   2. Insert a 0.9 mm (0.0354 in.) spark plug gap gauge or similar tool into the connector as shown in the illustration. Lift the claw and disconnect the connector.

      NOTE:

      • Insert the spark plug gap gauge to the point that the claw becomes the same height as the protrusion of the connector housing. If the spark plug gap gauge is inserted too far, or if the claw is lifted directly using a screwdriver, the claw may be damaged.
      • If the claw on the connector is damaged, replace the outer rear view mirror assembly.
2. Remove the screw.

3. Disengage the 3 claws and 2 guides to remove the outer mirror hole cover.

2. Disengage the guide as shown in the illustration.

   Remove in this Direction

3. Disengage the clamp.

4. Remove the connector cover.

5. Disconnect the connector.

6. Disengage the clamp.

7. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the connector as shown in the illustration to remove the outer mirror actuator assembly.
   NOTE:

   Be careful not to bend the terminals of the connector.

1. Cut the wire harness sub-assembly at the position shown in the illustration.

2. Remove the vinyl tape.
3. Remove the screw.

4. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides to remove the clamp.
5. Disengage the 6 guides and remove the gasket sub-assembly.
   NOTE:

   Make sure to replace the gasket sub-assembly with a new one.

6. Using a T25 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 3 screws.

   NOTE:

   Make sure to replace the screw with a new one.

7. Remove the base sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

8. Remove the 3 screws.

9. Disconnect the connector.

10. Disengage the clamp.
11. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the actuator sub-assembly.

12. Pull the wire harness sub-assembly through the frame sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to remove the wire harness sub-assembly.
    NOTE:

    Make sure to replace the wire harness sub-assembly with a new one.

    Remove in this Direction

13. Remove the 2 screws.

14. Remove the frame sub-assembly from the support as shown in the illustration.
    NOTE:

    Make sure to replace the frame sub-assembly with a new one.
