Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    NOTE:

    After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [12/2021 - ]
  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL (w/o VIP Captain Seat) 
    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

  3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT TONNEAU COVER HINGE COVER (w/ VIP Captain Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
  7. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12
  8. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  9. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR LH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  10. REMOVE REAR FLOOR BOARD REAR RH (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  11. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  12. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE (w/o Rear No. 2 Seat)

  13. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT ASSEMBLY LH (w/ VIP Captain Seat)

  14. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  15. REMOVE OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER (except VIP Captain Seat RH Side)

  24. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

      *A w/ Pretensioner - -
      Bolt A Pretensioner Connector
      Bolt B Bolt C
      1. Loosen the bolt A and remove the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
      2. Disconnect the pretensioner connector.

        HINT: 

        Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:

        Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [12/2021 - ]

      3. Remove the bolt B and bolt C.
      4. Detach the guide and remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
  25. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for VIP Captain Seat RH Side)

      1. Remove the 2 nuts.
      2. Loosen the bolt and detach the guide to remove the shoulder anchor of the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly RH.
      3. Disconnect the pretensioner connector.

        HINT: 

        Refer to How to Connect or Disconnect Airbag Connector:

        Refer to HOW TO CONNECT OR DISCONNECT AIRBAG CONNECTOR [12/2021 - ]

      4. Disconnect the connector.
      5. Remove the bolt and detach the guide to remove the rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly RH.
  26. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH (for VIP Captain Seat RH Side) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]

  27. REMOVE BELT OUTER ANCHOR BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for VIP Captain Seat RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Perform this procedure when removing the outer belt anchor bracket sub-assembly RH.
