Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2021 - ]
- REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY RH
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for 4-Passenger, RH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 60
- REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH SPACER RH (w/ Spacer, for RH Side)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 59
- REMOVE REAR NO. 4 ROOF AIR DUCT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 62
- REMOVE REAR NO. 3 ROOF AIR DUCT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 63
- REMOVE ROOF RACK ASSEMBLY LH
*a Nut (A) *b Nut (B) - Put protective tape around the roof rack assembly LH.
- Remove the 2 nuts (A).
- Remove the 2 nuts (B).
- Detach the claw.
Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction - Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and remove the roof rack assembly LH as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF CARRIER SEAL NOTE:
When removing the No. 2 roof carrier seal, if the double-sided tape is difficult to remove, heat the adhesive of the No. 2 roof carrier seal using a heat light.
Standard Value
Part Temperature No. 2 Roof Carrier Seal 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) WARNING:- Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
- Touching the heat light may result in burns.
- Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.
