Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  3. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
  4. REMOVE COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE SUNSHADE HOOK (w/ Sunshade) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18
  8. REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS INNER WEATHERSTRIP LH

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR BELT SEAL LH

      Remove in this Direction Push in this Direction
      1. Remove the rear door belt moulding assembly LH by the following procedure.

        1. Put protective tape around the rear door belt moulding assembly LH.

        2. Using moulding remover A, detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

        3. Detach the claw and remove the rear door belt moulding assembly LH in the order shown in the illustration.
