Installation [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSPECTION [10/2017 - ] 

  2. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Attach the guide and temporarily install the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. Install the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Bolt A 

      Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

      Bolt B 

      Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      *a Locking Button
      Pretensioner Connector
      Tension Reducer Connector
      NOTE:
      • When handling the pretensioner connector, take care not to damage the pretensioner wire harness.
      • Securely lock the locking button.
    4. Connect the tension reducer connector.
    5. Attach the clamp.
  3. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Attach the guide and temporarily install the rear seat outer belt assembly RH.

    2. Install the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Bolt A 

      Torque: 12.5 N.m (127 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

      Bolt B 

      Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      *a Locking Button
      Pretensioner Connector
      Tension Reducer Connector
      NOTE:
      • When handling the pretensioner connector, take care not to damage the pretensioner wire harness.
      • Securely lock the locking button.
    4. Connect the tension reducer connector.
  4. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the guide in the installation direction shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction - -
    2. Pass the rear seat outer belt assembly LH, rear seat outer belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly through the hole of the package tray trim panel assembly.
    3. Push in the installation direction to attach the clip.

      Install in this Direction - -
    4. Install the package tray trim panel assembly with the 2 clips.
  5. INSTALL CENTER NO. 1 SPEAKER GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20

  7. INSTALL INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  8. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM SIDE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  9. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM SIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  11. INSTALL PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  12. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  13. INSTALL ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  14. INSTALL CENTER ROOM PARTITION GARNISH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  15. INSTALL NO. 2 EV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  16. INSTALL ROOM PARTITION BOARD ASSEMBLY LH

  17. INSTALL ROOM PARTITION BOARD ASSEMBLY RH

  22. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT ARMREST ASSEMBLY

  23. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

  24. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

  25. INSTALL REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (FLOOR ANCHOR) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  26. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (FLOOR ANCHOR) 
    1. Install the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

      *a Body Protrusion
      *b Location Pin

      Torque: 42 N.m (428 kgf/cm, 31 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      When installing, make sure that the body protrusion comes between the location pins of the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. Check that the ELR locks.
      1. With the rear seat outer belt assembly LH installed to the vehicle, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.
  27. INSTALL REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (FLOOR ANCHOR) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  28. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  32. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

  33. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  34. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

  36. INSPECT REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2018 - 09/2019] , or refer to OPERATION CHECK [09/2019 - ]

  37. INSPECT SEAT HEATER SYSTEM 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 10/2022]

  38. INSPECT CLIMATE CONTROL SEAT SYSTEM 

    Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [10/2017 - 10/2022]

  39. INSPECT SEAT VIBRATION SYSTEM (w/ Refresh Seat) 

    Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2017 - 10/2020]
