Reassembly [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH 
    1. Engage the claw.

    2. Install the front bumper side retainer LH with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.4 N.m (55 kgf/cm, 48 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT 
    1. Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts.

      Torque: 29 N.m (296 kgf/cm, 21 ft.lbf)

  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER 
    1. Engage the 2 guides to install the front bumper energy absorber.

  5. INSTALL INSIDE RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 6 claws, to install the inside radiator grille.

  6. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING 
    1. Engage the 13 claws and 4 guides.

    2. Install the radiator grille moulding with the 4 screws.

  7. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 12 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

  8. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE 
    1. Engage the 13 claws to install the lower No. 2 radiator grille.

  9. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 
    1. Engage the claw and guide.

    2. Install the symbol emblem with 2 new spring nuts.
  10. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE (OR FRONT PANEL) EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the symbol emblem.

  11. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE BRACKET 
    1. Install the radiator grille bracket with the clip.

  12. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR 
    1. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Remove the release paper and engage the 15 clips to install a new radiator grille protector.

  13. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the front bumper bracket LH.

  14. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET LH 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the No. 1 front bumper bracket LH with the 2 clips.

  16. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET 
    1. Engage the 2 claws.

    2. Install the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket with the 2 screws.
  18. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.

  19. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  21. INSTALL LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER 
    1. Engage the hook.

      *a Hook
    2. Engage the guide and 2 claws to install the lower radiator grille.
  22. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER 
    1. Engage the claw to install the front fender liner retainer.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  23. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET 
    1. Engage the 4 claws.

    2. Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

  24. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH

    1. Engage the 6 claws to install the fog light cover LH.
  25. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  26. INSTALL FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH 
    1. Install the fog light mounting bracket LH with the 2 screws.

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  28. INSTALL FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  30. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT LH 
    1. Engage the guide and 2 claws.

    2. Install the clip.
    3. Install the 2 screws.
    4. Install the intake duct LH with the 2 pin hold clips as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      Insert the pin hold clip with the slot aligned vertically. Do not rotate the clip after inserting it. After installation, confirm that the slot is aligned vertically.

  31. INSTALL AIR INTAKE DUCT RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  32. INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Engage the clamp to install the connector cover.

  33. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Engage the 10 clamps to install the No. 4 engine room wire.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new hose clamp.

      HINT: 

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Align the marking on the front bumper with the hose clamp and install the clamp as shown in the illustration.

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  34. INSTALL LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE LH 
    1. Engage the guide.

    2. Install the lower side radiator grille LH with the 3 screws.
  35. INSTALL LOWER SIDE RADIATOR GRILLE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  36. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING LH (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the radiator grille center moulding LH.

  37. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING RH (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  38. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  39. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  40. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  41. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  42. INSTALL HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) 
    1. Engage the 7 clamps to install the headlight cleaner hose.

    2. Remove the release paper from a new hose clamp.

      HINT: 

      After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Align the marking on the front bumper with the hose clamp and install the clamp as shown in the illustration.

  43. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  44. INSTALL HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
