- REMOVE FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]
- REMOVE REAR TIRE LH
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]
- REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING PROTECTOR LH
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]
- REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID ASSEMBLY
- Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid assembly.
Protective Tape - Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape Remove in this Direction - Slide in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the part (a) at 4 positions and remove the fuel filler opening lid assembly.
- Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid assembly.
- REMOVE FUEL TANK CAP ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.
*1 Fuel Inlet Box Ring - - - Disconnect the fuel tank filler pipe shield as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the 4 screws.
- Remove the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction - Press on the fuel tank filler pipe shield together with the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.
*1 Fuel Inlet Box Ring - - Pull Push - Pull in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the fuel tank filler pipe shield together with the fuel inlet box ring.
- Remove the fuel inlet box ring from the fuel tank filler pipe shield.

- Remove the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.
