Removal [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 10/2023]

    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2020 - 10/2023]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

      WARNING:

      • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
      • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  6. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (FLOOR ANCHOR) 
    1. Remove the bolt and floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (FLOOR ANCHOR) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (FLOOR ANCHOR) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  11. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  12. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

  29. REMOVE CENTER NO. 1 SPEAKER GRILLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  30. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
    2. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction to detach the clip.
    3. Pass the rear seat outer belt assembly LH, rear seat outer belt assembly RH and rear center seat outer belt assembly through the hole of the package tray trim panel assembly.

      Remove in this Direction - -
    4. pull in the removal direction to detach the guide and remove the package tray trim panel assembly.
  31. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.

      *a Locking Button
      Protective Tape
      Pretensioner Connector
      Tension Reducer Connector

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Disconnect the tension reducer connector.
    3. Detach the clamp.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. Detach the guide and remove the rear seat outer belt assembly LH.
  32. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.

      *a Locking Button
      Protective Tape
      Pretensioner Connector
      Tension Reducer Connector

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Disconnect the tension reducer connector.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts.

    4. Detach the guide and remove the rear seat outer belt assembly RH.
