Reassembly [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION 
    1. Attach the claw and install the luggage compartment door cushion.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH 
    1. Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover LH with the 4 clips.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  4. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. While bending the rear luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside of the vehicle, install it to the luggage compartment.

      HINT: 

      Do not bend the rear luggage compartment trim cover so far that it breaks.

    2. Push the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and install the rope hook.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    3. Install the rear luggage compartment trim cover with the 6 clips.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. While bending the front luggage compartment trim cover toward the inside of the vehicle, install it to the luggage compartment.

      HINT: 

      Do not bend the front luggage compartment trim cover so far that it breaks.

    2. Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 6 clips.

  7. INSTALL INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Install the inner lower luggage compartment trim cover with the 8 clips.

      HINT: 

      Install the inner lower luggage compartment trim cover so that its edge is not folded between the auxiliary battery and body.

  8. INSTALL TOOL BOX 
    1. Install the tool box.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure there are no gaps or looseness.
      • If there are gaps from the installation of the tool box, the luggage compartment mat sub-assembly cannot be neatly installed.

    1. Attach the pin and install the luggage compartment trim cover LH as shown in the illustration.

    1. Attach the claw and install the rear luggage trim clip.

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.

  20. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

  21. INSTALL REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT:

  22. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly to the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly.

  23. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR 
    1. Install the luggage compartment key cylinder protector with the nut.

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf) 

  24. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Pull the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly into the luggage compartment door panel as shown in the illustration.

      Pull
    2. Attach the clamp.
    3. Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf) 

  25. INSTALL LUGGAGE LOCK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP 
    1. Attach the guide and claw to install the luggage lock control cable clamp.

  26. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY

  27. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Attach the clamp to install the luggage door lock control cable sub-assembly.

    1. Attach the clip and install the luggage compartment door cover.
