Removal [12/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION WARNING:
Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

NOTE:After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
WARNING:- Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
NOTE:When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY
- for power seat:

Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018]
- for power seat:
- REMOVE NO. 2 CLEARANCE WARNING BUZZER
- Using a clip remover, detach the clamp and remove the No. 2 clearance warning buzzer.
- Disconnect the connector.
