Removal [01/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [01/2017 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  4

  10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [01/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [04/2020 - 05/2023]

  11. REMOVE OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER 
    1. Place your hands at the positions shown in the illustration and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach guide A.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
    2. Slide in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach guide B and remove the outer lap belt anchor cover.
  12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (FLOOR ANCHOR) 
    1. Remove the bolt and floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

  13. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21

  14. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  15. REMOVE NO. 3 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37

  16. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40

  17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the bolt and shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH.

    2. Using a screwdriver, pull out the locking button as shown in the illustration to release the lock and disconnect the pretensioner connector.

      HINT: 

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    3. Disconnect the tension reducer connector.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. Detach the guides and remove the front seat outer belt assembly LH.
  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER LH 
    1. Pull in the removal direction (1) shown in the illustration to detach the claw.

      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
    2. Slide in the removal direction (2) shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the front seat belt retractor cover LH.
