Reassembly [01/2017 - 01/2021]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 6 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  2. INSTALL SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  3. INSTALL NO. 4 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE 
    1. Pass the No. 4 luggage room wire through the wire harness grommet and insert it into the inside of the luggage room.

    2. Attach the clamps and connect the connector.

      Attach the claws to install the grommet.

    4. Attach the clamps and claws to install the No. 4 luggage room wire.

  4. INSTALL INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Install the inner luggage compartment trim cover LH with the 4 clips.

  5. INSTALL INNER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Install the inner luggage compartment trim cover RH with the 4 clips.

    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

      Close in this Direction
      Bolt

      Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf/cm, 62 in.lbf) 

    3. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claws.
  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Insert the guides as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 2 clips.

    3. Install the rope hook as shown as the illustration.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    4. Install the 2 clips.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX 
    1. Install the luggage compartment trim box.
  9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
    1. Insert the guides as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Attach the clips.
    3. Install the rear floor finish plate with the 3 clips.

  10. INSTALL SIDE TRIM BOX 
    1. Insert the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Attach the clips and claw to install the side trim box.
    3. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

      Close in this Direction
      Bolt

      Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf/cm, 62 in.lbf) 

    4. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claws.
  11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Install the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the 2 rope hook assemblies with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 7.0 N.m (71 kgf/cm, 62 in.lbf)

      Close in this Direction
      Bolt
    3. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claws.
  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Attach the claw to install the luggage compartment trim cover RH.

  17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HOUSING 

    HINT: 

    When installing the luggage compartment door housing, heat the luggage compartment door panel and luggage compartment door housing using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item Temperature
    Luggage Compartment Door Panel 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Luggage Compartment Door Housing 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    1. Clean the luggage compartment door panel surface.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the luggage compartment door housing surface.
      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the luggage compartment door housing.
      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new luggage compartment door housing.

      HINT: 

      After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Attach the double-sided tape to install the luggage compartment door housing.

      HINT: 

      Press the luggage compartment door housing firmly to install it.

  18. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

  19. INSTALL ACTIVE REAR WING (w/ Active Rear Wing)

  20. INSTALL OUTER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  21. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BRACKET 
    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim bracket with the 3 screws.

  22. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 
    1. Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 10 clips.

  23. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP 
    1. Install the luggage compartment door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. Close the cover.
  24. ADJUST REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY OPTICAL AXIS
