Removal [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [04/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT OUTER SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (LIMIT SWITCH) (for Outer Side) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Connector
      Screw
      Remove in this Direction
    2. Remove the 2 screws.
    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guides and remove the limit switch assembly.
  5. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [04/2020 - ]

  6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15 [04/2020 - ]

  7. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [04/2020 - ]

  8. REMOVE RECLINING REMOTE CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [04/2020 - ]

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Standard Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [04/2020 - ]

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Standard Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [04/2020 - ]

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Sports Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [04/2020 - ]

  12. REMOVE FRONT UPPER SEATBACK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for Standard Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [04/2020 - ]

  13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [04/2020 - ]

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER LH (for Sports Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26 [04/2020 - ]

  15. REMOVE SEAT RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [04/2020 - ]

  16. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT INNER SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR (LIMIT SWITCH) (for Inner Side) 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

      Connector
      Screw
      Remove in this Direction
    2. Remove the screw.
    3. Pull in the removal direction shown in the illustration to detach the guides and remove the limit switch assembly.
