Removal [03/2017 - 04/2020]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  7. REMOVE LH SEAT FRONT OUTER SEATBACK EDGE PROTECTOR 

    See step  4

  8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER LH (for Sports Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 43

  11. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 46

  12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 47

  13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 51

  14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION WIRE HARNESS HOLDER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 52

  15. REMOVE POWER SEAT LIFTER MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 nuts, plate and spacer.

      *a Plate
      Nut
      Spacer
    2. Remove the power seat lifter motor assembly LH.
      NOTE:
      • Remove at the lifter uppermost position.
      • The upper frame of the front seat adjuster assembly LH will quickly drop to the lowermost position if the power seat lifter motor assembly LH is removed. Therefore, when removing the power seat lifter motor assembly LH, support the upper plate of the front seat adjuster assembly LH with your hand.
      • Do not damage or dirty the gears or of the power seat lifter motor assembly LH and front seat adjuster assembly LH.
  16. REMOVE POWER SEAT TILT MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and power seat tilt motor assembly LH.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage or dirty the gears or of the power seat tilt motor assembly LH and front seat adjuster assembly LH.
