Disassembly [03/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COAT HOOK 
    1. Detach the claws and remove the coat hook.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

  2. REMOVE ACTIVE NOISE CONTROL MICROPHONE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  3. REMOVE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [03/2017 - 05/2023] , or refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  4. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING HOLDER COVER 
    1. Detach the claws and remove the roof headlining holder cover.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

  5. REMOVE ROOF SILENCER PAD (for Carbon Roof) 
    1. Remove the roof silencer pad.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE 
    1. for Glass Roof:
      1. Remove the tape from the roof headlining assembly.

        *a 90° - -
        Tape - -
      2. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° counterclockwise and disconnect from the roof headlining assembly.
      3. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining assembly.
      4. Remove the butyl tape.
    2. for Carbon Roof:
      1. Remove the tape from the roof headlining assembly.

        *a 90° - -
        Tape - -
      2. Turn the visor connectors approximately 90° counterclockwise and disconnect from the roof headlining assembly.
      3. Detach the clamps and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining assembly.
      4. Remove the butyl tape.
