Removal [05/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    See step  9

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    See step  11

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 2 OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    See step  13

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR NO. 2 OPENING TRIM COVER RH 

    See step  14

  7. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH 
    1. Apply protective tape at the position shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Place hand here
      Remove in this Direction
    3. Detach the guide and remove the front pillar garnish LH as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  8. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

  9. REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    1. Detach the claw and remove the visor bracket cover.

  10. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [05/2023 - ]

  11. REMOVE RAIN SENSOR COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  12. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure for the opposite side.

    1. Detach the visor assembly LH from the visor holder as shown in the illustration

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Turn the visor holder end approximately 90° in direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration.

    3. Pull out the visor holder as shown in the illustration.

    4. Detach the claw and remove the visor holder.

  13. REMOVE FRONT ROOF HEADLINING TRIM 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

    3. Detach the clip and remove the front roof headlining trim.
