Reassembly [07/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR PANEL CUSHION 
    1. Attach the claw to install a new luggage compartment door panel cushion.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure described for the other side.

  2. INSTALL NO. 5 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. INSTALL NO. 4 LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE 
    1. Pass the No. 4 luggage room wire through the wire harness grommet and insert it into the inside of the luggage room.

    2. Connect the connector.

      Attach the claw to install the grommet.

    4. Attach the clamp and install the No. 4 luggage room wire.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Install the No. 2 luggage compartment trim cover with the 4 clips.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Install the No. 1 luggage compartment trim cover with the 4 clips.

    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

      Close in this Direction

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf) 

    3. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claw.
  6. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 
    1. Attach the clip.

    2. Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 7 clips.

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX 
    1. Install the luggage compartment trim box.
  9. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 
    1. Insert the guide as shown in the illustration.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Attach the clip.
    3. Install the rear floor finish plate with the 3 clips.

  10. INSTALL SIDE TRIM BOX 
    1. Attach the clip to install the side trim box.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

      Close in this Direction

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf) 

    3. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claw.
  11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 
    1. Install the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

      Install in this Direction
    2. Install the 2 rope hook assemblies with the 2 bolts.

      Close in this Direction

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf) 

    3. Close the rope hook assembly cap as shown in the illustration to attach the claw.
  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 
    1. Attach the claw to install the luggage compartment trim cover RH.

    1. Install the No. 2 deck board.

  17. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HOUSING 

    HINT: 

    When installing the luggage compartment door housing, heat the luggage compartment door panel and luggage compartment door housing using a heat light.

    Standard

    Item Temperature
    Luggage Compartment Door Panel 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F)
    Luggage Compartment Door Housing 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F)
    WARNING:
    • Do not touch the heat light and heated parts.
    • Touching the heat light may result in burns.
    • Touching heated parts for a long time may result in burns.

    1. Clean the luggage compartment door panel surface.
      1. Using a heat light, heat the luggage compartment door panel surface.
      2. Remove the double-sided tape from the luggage compartment door panel.
      3. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.
    2. Remove the peeling paper from the face of a new luggage compartment door housing.

      HINT: 

      After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.

    3. Attach the double-sided tape to install the luggage compartment door housing.

      Double-sided Tape

      HINT: 

      Press the luggage compartment door housing firmly to install it.

  18. INSTALL SYMBOL EMBLEM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  19. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  20. INSTALL SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA ASSEMBLY (w/ Mayday System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  21. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  22. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  23. INSTALL NO. 2 AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  24. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER 
    1. Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 10 clips.

  25. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a 5 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the luggage compartment door assist grip assembly with the 2 screws.

      HINT: 

      Install the luggage compartment door assist grip assembly so that the arrow faces the top of the vehicle.(w/ Arrow Mark)

    2. Close the cover.
