Removal [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
- Remove the nut and disconnect the earth wire from the battery state sensor assembly.NOTE:
When disconnecting the earth wire, some systems need to be initialized after the earth wire is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 07/2022]
- Disengage the clamp and separate the auxiliary battery hose.
- Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery.
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
- Disengage the 2 claws and open the battery current sensor holder shown in the illustration.
Open - Remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
- Remove the nut and disconnect the earth wire from the battery state sensor assembly.
