Removal [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2018 - 07/2022]

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut and disconnect the earth wire from the battery state sensor assembly.

      NOTE:

      When disconnecting the earth wire, some systems need to be initialized after the earth wire is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 07/2022]

    2. Disengage the clamp and separate the auxiliary battery hose.

    3. Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery.
    4. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.

    5. Disengage the 2 claws and open the battery current sensor holder shown in the illustration.

      Open
    6. Remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder shown in the illustration.
