Installation [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the HV battery junction block assembly to the No. 1 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      If the HV battery junction block assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the wiring harness protector.
    4. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    5. Engage the 2 claws to close the wiring harness protector.
    6. Engage the clamp.
    7. Connect the HV battery junction block assembly connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

    8. Connect the electric vehicle battery plug assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY PACKING 

    See step  4

  3. INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    See step  10

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY PROTECTOR 

    See step  11

  6. CONNECT FLOOR WIRE 

    See step  12

  7. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE 

    See step  13

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY COVER PANEL RH 

    See step  14

  9. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  10. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    See step  16

  11. INSTALL REAR UNDER COVER 

    See step  17

  12. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER LH

  13. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  14. INSTALL REAR UNDER SIDE COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

  17. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  18. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
