Reassembly [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

INSTALL FUEL PUMP

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - ]

Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and fuel pump spacer to the fuel pump.

Engage the 3 claws to install the fuel pump to the No. 1 fuel suction support.
Engage the 4 claws to install the fuel pump to the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.
NOTE:
- Make sure that the O-ring is not cut or pinched during the installation.
- Engage the claws securely.

Align the protrusion of the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly with the installation hole of the plate sub-assembly and then slide the plate sub-assembly to install the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.

Engage the clamp and install the fuel pump harness to the fuel suction tube with pump and gauge assembly.

Connect the fuel pump harness 2 connectors.
