Removal [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2018 - ]

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2018 - 07/2022]

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor connector.

    2. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and No. 2 fuel pressure sensor holder from the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly.

    3. Remove the No. 2 fuel pressure from the fuel delivery pipe sub-assembly.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the No. 2 fuel pressure sensor.
