Installation [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL KNOCK SENSOR
HINT:
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the knock sensor.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 08/2021] Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - ]
- Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the bolt so that the knock sensor installation position is as shown in the illustration.
*a Top of Vehicle *b Right of Vehicle *c 15° *d 5° Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
NOTE:- If the knock sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
- Make sure that the knock sensor is in the correct position.
- Connect the knock sensor connector.
- Install the knock sensor to the cylinder block sub-assembly with the bolt so that the knock sensor installation position is as shown in the illustration.
- INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD

- PERFORM INITIALIZATION
- Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the knock sensor.
