Installation [10/2023 - ]: Procedure
- INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
- Check that the power switch is off.
- Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- While holding the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly with one hand, perform the following procedure.
- Connect the airbag connector and push the lock button to lock.
*a Lock Button Push in this Direction NOTE:- When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
- Make sure the lock button is securely locked.
- Insert it until the hood lock control lever locks.
Insert until Lock Engages - Attach the claw to connect the DLC3.
- Attach the wire harness clamp.
- Connect the airbag connector and push the lock button to lock.
- Attach the claw to install the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly.
Install in this Direction - Install the 4 bolts.
Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf)
- Check that there is no looseness in the lower No. 1 instrument panel airbag assembly.
- INSTALL NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH

- INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY

- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

- INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
