Installation [11/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL REAR LIDAR ADVANCED DRIVE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Do not reuse the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly if it has been dropped or subjected to a severe impact.
    • The rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is a precision instrument. Take care not to damage it during removal and installation.
    • If the lens surface of the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly is dirty, install the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly after cleaning it with a soft cloth or the like while taking care not to damage it.
    1. Temporarily install the rear LiDAR advanced drive sensor assembly with the 3 nuts

    2. Tighten the 3 nuts in the order shown in the illustration.

      Torque: 3.3 N.m (34 kgf/cm, 29 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 6 LIDAR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37 [10/2023 - ]

  3. INSTALL KICK DOOR CONTROL BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2023 - ]

  5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2020 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2023 - ]

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [11/2021 - 10/2023] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2023 - ]

  7. INSTALL INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2022 - ]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.

  8. CHECK KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR 

    Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2017 - 10/2023] , or refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [10/2023 - ]

  9. PERFORM CALIBRATION 

    Refer to CALIBRATION [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to CALIBRATION [10/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to CALIBRATION [10/2023 - ]

  10. ADJUST REAR LIDAR ADVANCED DRIVE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [11/2021 - ]
