Removal [09/2018 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  2. REMOVE TOOL BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 09/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [09/2019 - 10/2020]

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 10/2020]

  5. REMOVE AUXILIARY BATTERY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  7. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  8. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  9. REMOVE SIDE TRIM BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  10. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  12. REMOVE INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  14. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  15. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  17. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Detach the claw and open the cap.
    2. Remove the bolt and rope hook assembly.
    3. Detach the clip and remove the rear luggage compartment tray bracket RH.

  18. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER

    1. Detach the 2 claws and connector cover.
  19. REMOVE SUB-BATTERY MODULE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Loosen the 2 nuts and disconnect the 2 sub-battery terminals from the sub-battery module assembly.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the sub-battery module assembly.
    3. Loosen the 2 nuts and disconnect the connector from the sub-battery module assembly.

  20. REMOVE SUB-BATTERY BRACKET 
    1. Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the sub-battery bracket (negative (-) terminal side) from the sub-battery module assembly.

    2. Loosen the 2 bolts and remove the sub-battery bracket (positive (+) terminal side) from the sub-battery module assembly.
