Removal [09/2018 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 09/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [09/2019 - 10/2020]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  6. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  7. REMOVE TOOL BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  8. REMOVE INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  12. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  13. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  14. REMOVE SIDE TRIM BOX 
    1. Detach the claw and guide and remove the side trim box as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  15. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Push the lever in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rope hook.

    2. Remove the grommet.

    3. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips and luggage compartment trim cover assembly RH.
  16. REMOVE ELECTRICAL KEY AND TPMS RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the nut.

      Connector
    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the electrical key and TPMS receiver assembly.
      NOTE:
      • Do not subject the electrical key and TPMS receiver assembly to strong impacts or force, and do not drop it.
      • If the removed nut is the same shape as that shown in the illustration, replace it the supplied replacement part.
