Removal [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

  2. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Open the door and cup holder of the console box assembly.
    2. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the clip and guide.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Lift up in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the clip.

      Remove in this Direction
    4. Detach the clamp, disconnect the 4 connectors and remove the upper console panel assembly.

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration, detach the clip in the order shown in the illustration and remove the No. 1 console upper panel garnish.

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 CONSOLE UPPER PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration, detach the clip in the order shown in the illustration and remove the No. 2 console upper panel garnish.

  5. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL 
    1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the clip.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Place your hand in the gap and pull in the removal direction (1) to detach the clip.

      Remove in this Direction (2)
    3. Pull in the removal direction (2) and remove the lower center instrument panel finish panel.
  6. REMOVE CONSOLE REAR END PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. w/ Disc Player:
      1. Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the clip and guide and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

    2. w/o Disc Player:

        Place hand here
        Remove in this Direction

        Place your hand at the position shown in the illustration and pull in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the clip and guide and remove the console rear end panel sub-assembly.

      2. Disconnect the connector.

  7. REMOVE DISC PLAYER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Disc Player) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  8. REMOVE BOX BOTTOM MAT 
    1. Remove the box bottom mat.

  9. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts.

    3. Disconnect the 3 connectors.

    4. While avoiding the shift lever, pull in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to detach the guide and remove the console box assembly.
