Removal [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

NOTE:

After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]
REMOVE NO. 5 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

Remove the 2 screw and the telephone and GPS antenna assembly with bracket.

REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

Detach the claw.

Disconnect the connector and remove the telephone and GPS antenna cord sub-assembly.

Detach the claw.

Remove in this Direction

While moving the telephone and GPS antenna assembly in the direction indicated in the illustration, detach the guide and remove the telephone and GPS antenna assembly from the telephone and GPS antenna bracket.
