Removal [10/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 10/2020]

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative(-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 10/2020]

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Fixed Seat Type:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018]

    2. for Power Seat:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018]

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  6. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  8. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  9. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION BOARD ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  10. REMOVE ROOM PARTITION BOARD ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

  12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE RAIL GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

  13. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH LH

  14. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM GARNISH RH

  15. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM SIDE COVER LH

  17. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

  18. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  19. REMOVE NO. 1 AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      Bolt
      Connector
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Detach the guide and remove the No. 1 amplifier antenna assembly.
  20. REMOVE NO. 2 AMPLIFIER ANTENNA ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      Bolt
      Connector
    2. Remove the bolt.
    3. Detach the guide and remove the No. 2 amplifier antenna assembly.
