Removal [10/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing.

    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

    WARNING:
    • Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2017 - 10/2020]

    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  4. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Fixed Seat Type:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018]

    2. for Power Seat:

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2018]

  5. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:

    Do not touch the cone of the rear No. 3 speaker assembly.

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the 4 bolts and the rear No. 3 speaker assembly.

      *A for 12 Speakers *B for 24 Speakers

  6. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH (for 24 Speakers) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  7. REMOVE INNER ROOF SIDE GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH (for 24 Speakers) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (for 24 Speakers) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29

  9. REMOVE REAR WINDOW SHADE ASSEMBLY (for 24 Speakers) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  10. REMOVE SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (for 24 Speakers) 
    NOTE:

    Do not touch the cone of the speaker assembly with bracket.

    1. Disconnect the connector.
    2. Remove the bolt.

    3. Detach the clip and remove the speaker assembly with bracket.
