Removal [10/2020 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [11/2021 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2021 - 10/2022]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [11/2021 - 10/2022]

  4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [11/2021 - 10/2022]

  5. REMOVE PARKING ASSIST ECU 
    1. Remove the front floor front carpet assembly.
      NOTE:

      It is not necessary to fully remove the floor carpet. Partially remove it so that the parking assist ECU can be removed in a later step.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Detach the clamp and remove the wire harness from the connector holder.

    3. Disconnect the 3 connectors.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts.

    5. Move the parking assist ECU in the direction of the arrow in the illustration and detach the hook.

      *a Hook
      *b Clamp
      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)
      Remove in this Direction (3)
    6. Detach the clamp and remove the parking assist ECU.
