Removal [10/2015 - 08/2016]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP CONNECTOR 

    Refer to  2

  2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. SEPARATE REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. REMOVE REAR DISC 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  6. SEPARATE REAR SKID CONTROL SENSOR WIRE 
    1. Remove the bolt and separate the rear skid control sensor wire.

    2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the rear skid control sensor wire connector from the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

  7. REMOVE REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

      Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

      HINT: 

      • The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly. If the rear speed sensor is malfunctioning, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
      • If the rear speed sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.
