Removal [10/2014 - 05/2019]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - 05/2019]
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - ]
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2014 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - ]
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the crank position sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.
- Remove the terminal cap.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator connector and wire harness.
- Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 wire harness clamp brackets.
- Disconnect the crank position sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.
