Removal [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [10/2014 - 09/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [09/2015 - 09/2017]

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2014 - 09/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2015 - 09/2017]

  3. REMOVE BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY 
    1. Lift the front end of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration and detach the 2 hooks from the rear seat cushion lock hook section.

      *a Rear seat cushion lock hook section
      *b Hook section at rear of rear seat cushion frame
      NOTE:

      The rear seat cushion frame will deform if lifted at a position far from the rear seat cushion lock hook.

    2. Detach the 2 hooks of the rear of the rear seat cushion frame.
    3. Pass the rear seat inner with center belt assembly RH through the rubber band of the rear seat cushion assembly.
    4. Remove the bench type rear seat cushion assembly.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2014 - 09/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [09/2015 - 09/2017]

  5. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2014 - 09/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [09/2015 - 09/2017]

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 
    1. Remove the 2 clips.

    2. Detach the 2 clips and guide to remove the No. 3 battery service cover board.
    3. Detach the clamp to disconnect the wire harness.

    4. Disconnect the connector.
  7. REMOVE NO. 2 BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 3 battery service cover board.

  8. REMOVE REAR POWER SEAT SWITCH 

    See step  13

  9. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly LH.
    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 4 clips.

    3. Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly LH to the upright position.
    4. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Clamp
      *2 Guide
    5. Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.
    6. Remove the 4 bolts.
    7. Detach the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  10. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Operate the rear power seat switch to fold down the rear seatback assembly RH.
    2. Using a clip remover, detach the 3 clips.

    3. Operate the rear power seat switch to move the rear seatback assembly RH to the upright position.
    4. Disconnect the connector.

      *1 Clamp
      *2 Guide
    5. Detach the 2 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.
    6. Remove the 4 bolts.
    7. Detach the 2 guides to remove the rear seatback assembly RH.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

  11. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE COVER BOARD 
    1. Remove the 5 clips.

    2. Detach the 2 guides to remove the battery service cover board.
  12. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT LEG ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and 3 clamps to disconnect the wire harness.

    2. Remove the 10 bolts.

    3. Detach the 2 guides to remove the No. 1 seat leg assembly.
  13. REMOVE SEAT LEG BRACKET 
    1. Partially remove the floor carpet.
    2. Detach the clamp.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts and seat leg bracket.
