Installation [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure
- INSTALL REAR DISC LH
- Check the identification mark to determine the installation side.NOTE:
The rear disc needs to be installed to the correct side of the vehicle. There is a "L", indicating the disc for the left wheel, or a "R", indicating the disc for the right wheel, engraved on the disc in the position shown in the illustration.
- When reusing the rear disc LH:
- When replacing the rear disc LH:
- Inspect the rear disc runout.
See step 5
- Select the installation position where the rear disc has minimal runout, and install the rear disc LH.
- Inspect the rear disc runout.
- Temporarily install the 5 hub nuts.
- Check the identification mark to determine the installation side.
- INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE ADJUSTING HOLE PLUG
- Install the parking brake shoe adjusting hole plug to rear disc LH.
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 151 N.m (1540 kgf/cm, 111 ft.lbf)
- Install the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH to the rear axle carrier sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.
- CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE
- Connect the rear flexible hose to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH with a new union bolt and a new gasket.
Torque: 39.2 N.m (400 kgf/cm, 29 ft.lbf)
NOTE:Install the rear flexible hose lock securely into the lock hole in the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH.
- Connect the rear flexible hose to the rear disc brake cylinder assembly LH with a new union bolt and a new gasket.
- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE ANTI-SQUEAL SHIM

- INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE PAD
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- CONNECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP CONNECTOR (w/o Advanced Park)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
- CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL (w/ Advanced Park)
- Connect the reservoir level switch connector.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

- Perform the following procedure if air bleeding is not necessary:
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (READY).
- Depress the brake pedal and release it.
- Clear the DTCs.
