Removal [10/2020 - 11/2021]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT BRAKE BOOSTER PUMP CONNECTOR (w/o Advanced Park) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  2. DISABLE BRAKE CONTROL (w/ Advanced Park) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2023]

  4. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID 
    NOTE:

    If brake fluid leaks onto any painted surface, immediately wash it off.

  5. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE PAD 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE FRONT DISC BRAKE ANTI-SQUEAL SHIM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  7. DISCONNECT FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE 
    1. Remove the union bolt and gasket, and disconnect the front flexible hose from the disc brake cylinder assembly LH.

  8. REMOVE DISC BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and disc brake cylinder assembly LH from the steering knuckle.

  9. REMOVE FRONT DISC LH 
    1. Put matchmarks on the front disc LH and the front axle hub sub-assembly LH.

      *a Matchmark

      HINT: 

      Not required when replacing the front disc LH.

    2. Remove the front disc LH.
