Removal [09/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  2. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL LH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL RH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Front Suspension Member Brace) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  7. REMOVE STRUT BAR BRACKET SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  8. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH from the lower No. 2 suspension arm assembly LH and front stabilizer bar.

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 8 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  9. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 4 nuts, and front stabilizer bar.

      HINT: 

      • The stabilizer bracket and bush are built onto the stabilizer bar. If the bracket and/or bush detach from the bar, replace the bar.
      • Be careful not to drop the nuts.
