Removal [08/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch is turned off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - 08/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2022 - ] ).

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  7. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  8. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH NAVIGATION ECU 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH CUSHION 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19

  12. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  13. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  14. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

  15. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  16. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET A 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  17. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER BRACKET B 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  18. REMOVE INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  19. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Detach the 8 claws and 2 guides to remove the air conditioning control assembly.

  20. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL RETAINER 
    1. Remove the 5 screws.

    2. Detach the 8 claws and remove the heater control retainer.

  21. REMOVE CENTER CLUSTER MODULE LENS 
    1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the center cluster module lens.

  22. REMOVE NO. 2 CENTER CLUSTER MODULE LENS 
    1. Use the same procedure for the center cluster module lens.
