Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18 [08/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16 [08/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [08/2020 - ]

  4. DISCONNECT NO. 3 VENTILATION HOSE 
    1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 3 ventilation hose.

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 1 AIR INJECTION SYSTEM HOSE 
    1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 1 air injection system hose.

  6. REMOVE AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

      Detach the wire harness clamp and disconnect the air switching valve connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket.

      Remove the 2 bolts.

      Remove the 3 bolts, air switching valve assembly and gasket.

      NOTE:

      Be careful not to damage the surfaces that contact the gasket.
