Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure
- RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
See step 1
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to REMOVAL [10/2015 - ]
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2017 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [05/2018 - ]
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2017 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [05/2018 - ]
- REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2015 - 05/2018], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [05/2018 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR
- DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor assembly with pulley.
- Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.NOTE:
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the compressor assembly with pulley.
- DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE
- REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the wire harness clamp bracket.
- Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.
HINT:
Remove the compressor assembly with pulley from the vehicle with the stud bolts remaining in the compressor assembly with pulley.
- Disconnect the connector.
