Removal [10/2015 - 05/2018]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [09/2017 - 05/2018]

  3. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [09/2017 - 05/2018]

  4. SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt, 5 nuts and No. 1 oil cooler bracket.

  6. REMOVE OIL COOLER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the bolt, 3 nuts and oil cooler bracket.

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 FRAME CROSSMEMBER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 frame crossmember assembly.

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 FRAME CROSSMEMBER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the No. 2 frame crossmember assembly.

  9. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link sub-assembly LH from the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly LH.

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  10. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2015 - 09/2017], or Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [09/2017 - 05/2018]

  12. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front stabilizer bracket LH.

  14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar from the vehicle.
  16. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING 
    1. Remove the 2 front stabilizer bar bushings from the front stabilizer bar.
  17. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Separate the wire harness clamp from the front stabilizer bracket LH.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and front stabilizer bracket LH from the frame.
  18. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH 
    1. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the front stabilizer bracket RH.

    2. Remove the 4 bolts and front stabilizer bracket RH from the frame.
