Installation [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL NO. 2 HV SUPPLY STACK SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the No. 2 HV supply stack sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

    2. Engage the claw.
    3. Engage the clamp.
    4. Install the nut to connect the earth terminal.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HV SUPPLY STACK SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the No. 1 HV supply stack sub-assembly with the 4 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

    2. Engage the claw.
    3. Connect the connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

    4. Connect the connector.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connector is connected securely.

  3. INSTALL BATTERY ECU ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT LH 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct LH to the HV battery with the clip.
    2. Engage the claw of hybrid battery thermistor (sensor portion) to connect the No. 1 hybrid battery intake duct LH.
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.

    1. Install the No. 2 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly to the HV battery with the bolt and 3 nuts.

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  6. INSTALL HYBRID BATTERY TERMINAL BLOCK 

    See step  1

  7. INSTALL HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY 

    See step  2

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  9. INSTALL UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  10. INSTALL HV BATTERY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2020 - ]

  11. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2020 - 08/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2022 - ]
